Health and safety at work

It is a basic right for every worker in New Zealand to have a safe working environment and be able to return home from work each day safe and well.
This video explains the employer’s responsibility to provide a safe and healthy workplace.

ACC also provides advice to help keep you safe at work.

The Health & Safety in Employment Act gives workers rights to participate in the management of workplace health and safety in our jobs. This video explains your responsibilities as a worker.
